- Curt Varone
- I am a Deputy Assistant Chief (shift-commander) with the Providence Fire Department, and a practicing attorney licensed in both Rhode Island and Maine. I have over 35 years in the fire service, including 29 years as a career firefighter in Providence, as well as volunteer and paid on call experience. I am the author of two books: Legal Considerations for Fire and Emergency Services, (2006) and Fire Officer's Legal Handbook (2007).
